Young-Jai You, Ph.D.

Young-Jai You. Ph.D. received her Ph.D. degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 2004. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Molecular Biology and as an instructor in the Department of Pharmacology at UTSW until 2010, when she was recruited to a faculty in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2015, she was recruited to Nagoya University in Japan as a member of Neuroscience Institute. In 2018, she was promoted to a professor in G30 (Global 30) program in Nagoya University to teach and train international students in addition to her own research. In 2020, she returned to the US and joined the Center for Hypothalamic Research.
