Teppei Fujikawa, Ph.D.
Dr. Teppei Fujikawa is originally from Japan and he moved to the U.S. as a postdoctoral fellow after he received Ph.D. from Kyoto University, one of the top research universities in Japan. He completed the postdoctoral training with Drs. Roberto Coppari (Geneva University) and Joel K. Elmquist (UTSW) at UTSW. After the training, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Physiology Department and Associate Director of Transgenic Core at UT Health San Antonio, where he started the career as a principal investigator. Dr. Fujikawa joined the Hypothalamic Research Center at UTSW as an Assistant Professor in 2020.
